If we look at where industrial compressors are installed, and what the working conditions are like, the answer is actually already clear.
The operating environments for JAB compressors can be described as rather harsh. In most cases, JAB compressors are installed in recesses or chambers beneath compressor ports with minimal weather protection, or simply left unprotected outdoors.

Remote monitoring of compressor operation is a far more elegant solution.
With a JABcommand UNI plus integrated into the company network, test data can be recorded and control functions adjusted seamlessly and automatically. The advanced control hardware, precisely tailored to JAB compressor technology and combined with appropriate sensor technology, enables the current operating status to be monitored.
Productive maintenance, sensor technology and real-time parameter monitoring enable maintenance requirements to be identified at an early stage, allowing proactive measures to be taken for compressor maintenance.
The JABcommand UNI plus allows load and unload pressures to be controlled either on-site or via remote maintenance. It enables status monitoring of operating hours, utilisation rates and maintenance intervals, and allows for fault diagnosis where necessary, as well as a response to alarms and warnings.
Remote fault diagnosis is an effective tool for identifying the underlying causes and thereby providing technicians with specific instructions before they set off. This is an unbeatable advantage when the JAB compressor system is not located in the immediate vicinity.
JAB Multi-Compressor Management enables the monitoring and control of entire JAB compressor clusters.
In this master control mode, multiple compressors within a compressed air system – comprising one or more compressed air zones – can be coordinated.
This allows workloads to be distributed specifically across the relevant JAB compressor units, thereby tailoring efficient compressor combinations to the current compressed air demand.
